Are you licensed and insured?
Licensing.
Every Realtor must be licensed to be affiliated with local Real Estate Board. Licensing status of any Realtor is public information. To verify status, go to DPOR for Virginia licenses and DLLR for Maryland licenses.
Insurance.
Each Realtor is required to carry E&O and auto insurance coverage to conduct real estate business. Contact individual Broker's office for more details.
